Birthday, Wedding & Powderpuff

This past weekend Jeremy and I traveled to Cabot to visit family and  celebrate my niece's birthday.  I absolutely cannot believe she is TWO already.  It seems like just yesterday we were anxiously awaiting her arrival.  She's starting to warm up to Jeremy finally :)   At first, all she would do was stare at him.  Haha.  Now she calls him "Me" (short for Jer-Me) when she sees his picture.  It's pretty cute.

Heelyn is at such a fun age right now.  Her vocabulary is growing so fast and hearing her form little sentences is just so cute.  She was totally into opening all her presents, but wasn't that excited about the clothes, haha.

After Heelyn's birthday party, my mom and I went to Searcy to look at a Christmas decoration store.  My mom had noticed that they had tons of burlap decor (which is what I'm wanting for the wedding).  I'm so glad she noticed because we got SO many cute things to decorate with!  I'm so thankful that my mom is the amazing decorator that she is... AND she knows exactly what my wedding vision is.  She came up with so many creative ideas.  Starting to get decor only makes me more excited for July to get here.  I absolutely cannot wait to marry that boy!

Right now I'm smack dab in the middle of competition season for Cheerleading.  This time of the year is both really exciting and super stressful.  We are putting the peices together on our routines and tension is extremely high.  Practices are either great or awful.  I love this time of the year... when it's competition day.  Haha.  There's so much hard work that goes into the before that it makes you forget sometimes the outcome.

Anyway....  we decided to take a short break from practicing to play in a Powderpuff game against the varsity cheerleaders benefiting United Way.  It was SO SO SO much fun!  My girls were so pumped up and had a great time.    Even though we didn't win, we all had a great night and are already talking about a re-match.  Ha.  Who knew girls could love playing football so much??
